Generally, this essay employs the concept of ‘stance’ to try understand theological thoughts and activities Bonhoeffer Christian community at large during turbulent events which occurred in Nazi Germany. In particular, it attempts a brief exploratory sketch how various socio-political contextual factors significantly shaped many his central ideas concepts. The suggests that Bonhoeffer’s doctrine ethics cannot be adequately understood apart from context Hitler’s dictatorship actions National Socialist political regime within emerged developed.
